The website bits.of.art considers the issue of website accessibility very important, and works to make accessible and promote equal rights and transparency towards people with disabilities. It should be noted that this website is exempt by law from making a website accessible according to the laws of an exempt dealer.

The accessibility adjustments were made according to the recommendations of the Israeli standard (TI 5568) for content accessibility on the Internet at level AA and the international WCAG 2.0 document. This standard is based on the guidelines document of the international organization that deals with standardization on the web - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.

The site supports all popular browsers such as: Internet Explorer 10, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox. and adapted to a display compatible with a variety of screens and resolutions, including mobile.

 

Adjustments made on the site:

Defining titles - placing a main title on each page defined as an H1 title.

Maintaining contrast between text and background according to the requested standard and the possibility of viewing the site in black and white colors.​

Use of clear and easy to read fonts.

Fixed structure for all pages on the site.

Use of links with an explanation of the nature of the link.

Maintaining a clear and easy-to-navigate menu.

Site navigation by keyboard and screen readers using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys to move between links, the arrow keys, the Enter key to select.

Alt text - textual descriptions of images that help visually impaired users.
